Narromine Industrial Precinct and Freight Exchange Business Case: Balmoral Group Australia has been retained to deliver a strategic business case for an Industrial Precinct and Freight Exchange, leveraging the considerable economic opportunity present in the Inland Rail development at Narromine. The business case will demonstrate how the economic benefits that arise from government investment in enabling infrastructure (i.e., roads, and connectivity to utilities), will allow a private operator to establish an Intermodal and offer services to the region’s engine and value-adding industries, including livestock and cropping, meat and grains manufacturing, transport services, and machinery repair and maintenance. The proposed works will deliver benefits to Narromine, the wider Central Orana region, and NSW by unlocking private investment, creating jobs, allowing businesses to diversify and specialise, and provide a basis for long-term demographic stability and growth in Regional NSW.
Baaka Cultural Centre Business Case: Balmoral Group Australia prepared a Business Case for a $10M Cultural Centre in Wilcannia, to be jointly funded from the State and Federal Government. Our team worked closely with the client, the community, architects and quantity surveyors to ensure that the project met the community’s needs and expectations. The project included the provision of a Cost Benefit Analysis (including non-market and indirect benefits for all options, and Net Present Value); the project also included a Financial Appraisal to assess net profitability. This analysis was underpinned by an extensive socio-economic analysis of the local residents and tourism data.
