Our business cases have unlocked millions in funding for regional and infrastructure projects. Highlights include the $14.6M Dubbo Airport upgrade, $12.5M Pooncarie Road enhancement, and $9M Wilcannia Baaka Cultural Centre. We also delivered business cases for wastewater treatment, community precincts, and fire protection upgrades across NSW.

The Dubbo Regional Airport needed to lengthen & strengthen its' runway to continue supporting the Rural Fire Service in bushfire hazards. BGA provided a CBA in accordance with NSW Treasury guidelines which was compared to the base case. Recommendations were provided for the option of a runway extension offering significant benefits for regional stakeholders and the government.

Prepared a Business Case for Richmond Valley Council regarding the replacement of the Casino Sewage Treatment Plant. Consulted key stakeholders to determine top objectives and preferences, which included desired growth and development, meeting environmental standards, & accommodating future urban relocation from flood-prone communities. The plant upgrade will improve infrastructure, environmental protection, and resilience to flooding.

Business Case that outlines the economic rationale for a New South Dubbo Bridge to determine if any of the proposed alternative designs represent 'value for money' and deserve further investigation in a future Detailed Business Case. Dubbo is experiencing growth, and a proposed new South Dubbo Bridge aims to reduce travel times, improve traffic flow, and connect West Dubbo to the CBD. Read More!

The report provides a cost-benefit analysis and distributional analysis for coastal protection options from the Wamberal Terminal Coastal Protection Assessment. It also compares economic trade-offs for various protection alternatives and includes a socio-economic profile of the local area. The analysis considers five management options, including maintaining the status quo and various seawall designs with periodic sand nourishment. Read More!

Worked with the Baaka Cultural Centre Aboriginal Corporation and the Central Darling Shire Council to develop a Business Case and CBA for the Wilcannia Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Business case provided a compelling case for investment backed by socio-economic analysis of the region, a comprehensive CBA that identified substantial benefits to the local people and the wider community, & economic modelling quantifying long-term wider employment benefits to increase tourism in the Shire.
